During my visit to India, I went to Bengaluru.
Bengaluru is the hub of IT industries and multinationals, much like the silicon valley of USA.
My reason to visit Bengaluru, was to visit my Uncle, younger brother of my father.
We reached there by flight in the evening and checked in the hotel – ITC Gardenia.
This hotel was amazing, beyond my expectations.
The Hotel has the charm of traditions and service of a modern hotel.
Beautiful long, open lobby and tall ceilings does not take away the cozy feel.

Entrance was decorated with Udalis (metal decorated vessels filled with water and petals of rose and marigold)
Hotel had a wonderful mix of luxury and exclusiveness. Beautiful manicured lawns and all varieties of roses and Palm trees.
We were greeted by a uniformed door-man. At the check-in, girls were dressed in traditional sari’s. We were welcomed by a traditional cloth around our necks like a garland.
Rooms were covered in custom designed furniture, tapestry, beautiful fine china. Bathrooms were exquisite. The hotel had simple amenities paired with great craftsmanship.
Rich colored drapes windows opened to private balcony. They gave a very quaint feel of the place.
Morning breakfast included traditional South Indian and continental. Omelettes and dosas were fresh made, paired with hot filter coffee
Hotel had the swimming pool, Spa, and Gym with smiling service to top it all off.
Hotel has a very gourmet dessert and ice-cream shop, its has a nice big Bar with beautiful ambiance.
A short walk behind the hotel leads to finest Brewery, cafes, Bars and restaurants, and world famous mall with stores and designers from all over the world.
It’s a place of refinement, luxury, comfort and effortlessness.
The ITC Gardenia hotel at Bengaluru is exceptional.
